AXA brought a legacy application from the aerospace industry to the cookware industry. ION, a titanium alloy high temperature coating technique, fuses titanium particles to the stainless steel via a high speed nano application for an increase in easy release by micro-texturing the surface.

AXA created its patented 3D “AXA Base” to increase heating efficiency. This base design extends the pot base’s surface area to create up to 15% energy savings, furthering AXA’s environmental impact goals.

In 2008, AXA brought Ecological Surface Treatment (EST), or Hard Oxidation, a technique unique to major industry applications in the UK, to aluminum cookware in China. This process hardens aluminum in an eco-friendly way (as opposed to acid-based Hard Anodization) better than industry standard practices and promotes AXA’s goals of lessening the factory’s carbon footprint to preserve the environment for future generations.

In 2003, AXA received its first Red Dot Design Award from Germany for its manufacture of the Q-Linear range.

AXA helped to change the face of the cookware industry in helping to pioneer the creation of hollow cast handles for the industry.

2000: AXA collaborates with golf club manufacturers to create the first cast steel handle in the cookware industry.
